I admit, I was a little skeptical at first. I was afraid I might fall asleep... again. But, that didn't happen. I was riveted the whole time. It really was a great movie and Heath Ledger's performance as The Joker was excellent. I am definitely a fan. I will have to check out Batman Begins now. I can't help but wonder if the new franchise would be as successful if the others hadn't been made. Maybe I'll change my mind! :) I remember the original Batman movie from the 90s, or more accurately, I remember falling asleep during the movie. I certainly hope this one is better. Was it Batman Begins? I honestly can't remember. Having never been that enamored by Batman I haven't really jumped on this bandwagon. I can barely keep all the Batman movies straight.
