Klein wins again

Not like its a surprise, but Ralph Klein won his 10th consecutive majority in yesterday’s election. The Tories were leading or elected in 62, with the Liberals leading or elected in 17. In fact, Klein’s PCs lost 12 ridings compared with the 2001 election – the first decline in his tenure.

Now the question is, how long until he decides to retire?

  1. The only reason they lost seats is because the Tory supporters decided to stay at home as the numbers show this was the worst turn-out in history. Everyone thought the PC majority was a for sure thing and there were no big issues so people stayed at home.
