Unless you’ve been living inside a cardboard box (are you in Arts? just kidding) you have probably heard all about Halo 2. The highly anticipated game for XBOX drops tomorrow, so I figured I’d round up some reviews for you. Enjoy!

"First Strike" as you said, in between, but they’ve been out for quite some time now, but yeah they’re awesome books I hear, I haven’t had a chance to read them myself yet, but from what Mr. Awesome tells me, there’s at least 5 or 6 Spartan soldiers at the beginning of Halo 2…
Yeah released last December, now that I checked. On the main Halo 2 website they call the book "new" – seems I was misled!
I’m getting it at Microplay at midnight tonight.
I’ll hopefully be able to snag a copy of Jak III to avoid going in again tomorrow.

well what did you expect? ill tell you what i expected. a add on to halo 1 with a few extra weapons thrown in there with better graphics…what did i get…u kick in the face. this game has everythig and a whole lot more. the graphics are the best that i have ever seen and the weapons…i can’t say enough the guns kickass they will blow you away. the only weapon that i was let down with was the sword…but it still rules you can murder all your enimies with a few blows. the voice overs are all so good…the aliens and new and improved. they are harder to kill. your alies are also harder to kill they will stay alive for a whole level without you even helping them. the vehilces are sweet and easier to manover. the levels are so well done they will blow you away. the aliens will actually taunt you out and call you on to fight. your ali soldiers will give you their weapons if they are on the verge of dieing. there is swearing…ya thats right….swearing….the ad ons that they included on this amazing game will blow you away. i have yet to get online with it but the multiplayer is damn good by it self. my over all rating of this game is definatly a 10…if you dont already have it….get it!

halo 2 was a disappointment, the gunz suck there power levels are all dummed down and there are so many and no ammo. Yes, the graphics are nice the storyline is ok, but the pistol comon that was teh best
the pistol was always overpowered and considered cheap, it’s about time they nerfed it, and replaced it with the much improved battle rifle
and really, if you think Halo 2 is a disappointment solely based on the guns, you probably were never a Halo fan to begin with

Halo 2 is ok, everything is more of an upgrade its not different enough, the guns do kick ass even though ammo is rare. multiplayer is sweet and legedary is hard, really hard like it should be. MORE UPGRADES!!! it still needs something?

Halo 2 has "next generation" improvements like improved graphics, improved enemy characters and vehicle improvements, as well as a great stroy. What Microsoft didn’t do was include any real improvements like system link so you don’t have to play split screen and I the online format is pathetic and very poorly designed. The focus on clan building replaced any real functionality. Is it just a Microsoft thing to leave the customer always wanting so much more or is it a matter of not wanting to do what is asked for because they are MICROSOFT! Halo2 is a nice game offline (although short), but online is for the mindless dorks that have been anticipating this game for a couple of years and wouldn’t notice the difference if the game completely sucked. The ratings of 9+ are rediculous and show absolutely no real thought to reviewing the game, just kissing Microsoft tail. The rating should be more like a 6 or 7, a good game with an aweful online format. All Microsoft PC monitors should be shared by 2 users on splitscreen, maybe then they would get a clue. With the following Halo has, Microsoft failed misserably at Halo 2!
Love the Game, but was quite disappointed when it ended(Too Short). I thought it was way to short and very easy to pass the levels on Heroic mode. Will start playing on Legendary now, I think that will be hard and it should take longer. I believe that they do that on purpose, so you finish the game feeling like "I want more", they probably could have made Halo as long as Halo 1 but decided, why have only 2 games, lets cut short and create Halo 3. Another thing, I think the levels to play on Link are massive, I usually have only up to 4 people playing, it can take ages(Good excuse though). Anyway hope Halo 3 comes soon and it is longer just like Halo 1.

If you beat it on legendary it says "coming Feb. 9" which can ,hopefully, only mean Halo 3. And is it me or does it seem that when fighting the Elites that they go down way too easy? The weapons are sweet and the graphics kick ass. But the multiplayer is not the best in my opinion. The new blood gulch is not that impressive and seems different. And for all of the other maps they are all HUGE besides Beaver Creek which is Battle Creek from Halo 1. I don’t have X-Live so i don’t have anything to say about that. The destruction of vehicles is a nice feature, i just wish you could turn it off at times. to do some old fashion warthog jumping. Which you cannot do as easily in Halo 2. Halo 2 is a fun game but it took toooo long for it to come out and its not the best.

I cannot agree more with above, after waiting a good 18 months, Halo 2 was just way too short with the final battle being a complete let down. Why did it take so long to come out? Other games are completed in half the time and just as good as Halo 2, but Halo 1 was streets ahead…
