Hope you’re enjoying the long weekend so far, despite the cooler, wet weather we’re having! Here are my weekly Edmonton notes:

- The Northwest LRT Route Recommendation is now available – information sessions are being held in June.
- Also in LRT news – service is disrupted between Clareview and Churchill through Monday for repairs. Bus replacement service is operating.

- On Tuesday the CommuniTEA Infusion van was launched at Churchill Square.

- Most of the elm trees between 96 and 99 Street on Whyte Avenue were set to be chopped down, but now it looks like 50 more will be saved.
- In election news: here’s a great rundown of the Council races from Alex, and here’s a list of the EPSB Trustee Candidates. Daryl Bonnar became the first candidate to challenge Mandel for Mayor.
