RE: Finding Jesus at TechEd

At first I just left a comment on Rory’s post, but then I decided I should share this with all of you. After all, the religious blog wars have been kind of dead lately haven’t they? In any case, read his post. It is the perfect example of what most religious groups need – a good wake up call to mind their own goddamned business. Enjoy!

  1. My god, those whorbos! Actually something like that happen to me while in Vancouver. I was coming out of the theatre (after watching a concert – didn’t mention that in my blog) and I was surrounded by Falun Gong members handing out cds and pamphlets. I’m sure they saw me throw their cds into the garbage can after receiving it.

  2. I almost missed my bus one time when these two Mormon missionaries stopped me and tried to talk to me hehe. I don’t think I’d mind hearing what the two of ’em had to say (if I had time), but 10….lol that’s gangbang all over that shit!

  3. So if you were going to be killed by a bus, would you want me to tell you the bus was coming and that you should get off the path you are travelling before you get hit or would you prefer me to just watch you about to die and figure the path you are taking is your choice?
I wouldn’t be able to watch you get killed if there was something I could have done to prevented it. Neither would it be right for me to watch someone on the path to hell and not at least give a heads up that Jesus is the only way to be saved.
Do I just walk up to people on the street? No. Should I, perhaps but that seems that such witnessing is mostly be done by cult groups such as Mormons and Jehovah’s Witnesses. People think if they are being approached then it must be by one of the two groups and that is the wrong impression I want to make. However, I do try to find opportunities to talk about Jesus and the salvation we have in Him. I don’t think that makes me a nut or a horrible person. I would just like to see everyone go to heaven.:)
