Game 6 was a dandy as Sportsguru will tell you, but Tampa Bay prevailed and we are going to game seven! It was a very tense game, but the end result is all that matters 🙂
The movie (Day After Tomorrow) wasn’t all that bad either. I walked out of the theatre half expecting snow. In fact, it was actually quite humorous in places!
Now, I propose we stage a flag burning downtown after the game Monday night, where Oiler fans who are cheering for Calgary can redeem themselves by taking those stupid car flags and burning them. What do you think? Damn traitors shouldn’t get off scott-free!
OH…before I forget. The Flames lost. HOW MANY GODDAMNED POINTS DID IGINLA HAVE? HOW VISIBLE WAS HE? Useless.

Just to note, Iginla was again a minus 1 in a losing cause and managed only 2 shots, one in the first and one in the second. Way to go Jarome! I guess you hardcore Iginla fans can take comfort in the fact that he at least kept himself out of the penalty box.

GO TAMPA! And all those bandwagon jumpers can go to hell. As my brother said, a true Oilers fan can never cheer for the Flames! I hate those people jumping on the bandwagon just because Calgary is doing well.

Maybe people are cheering for calgary because there’s a team who is in the stanley cup final not because of a huge payroll, but because they are actually a team. And besides, since the only people in the states who care about tampa are the 22000 people who go to their games, i think it’d be a damn shame if the cup ended up there. hockey doesn’t belong in fucking florida; it’s a canadian game and the cup belongs here.

I guess if the Lightning win the cup belongs in Florida doesnt it? Calgary obviously werent good enough to earn and neither were any other Canadian teams. Saying it doesnt belong there because its the United States is just plain dumb.
