Looks the same as the preview release, but this new version is FAST. Starts up faster, shuts down faster, loads pages faster. You name it, it’s faster. Firefox is now my default browser (even though I have been using it for months).

Yay, Firefox 1.0 is out! Not much difference from the PR. I did notice it loads pages faster than before. Did not see it in the start up or the shut down. But great new tab browsing features! It’s been my dafault browser for about 2 months now, haven’t regret it yet!
man, this might just be the coolest thing ever…I can’t believe i ever used Internet Explorer…
thanks again Mack for helping me find cool stuff to enhance my computer experience ๐

I’ve been using it since it was Firebird. I’m not upgrading to 1.0, though, because it breaks most plugins for earlier versions. I’ll consider upgrading from 1.0PR when Synchronize Bookmarks, Plain Text Links, Add Bookmark Here, SpoofStick, and Listzilla are available.
It’s the best browser. Far more faithful in rendering (X)HTML than IE. Far fewer crashes, even with the pre-release version. Plenty of wonderful features built in—every time I get stuck on a computer with only IE, I seem to miss Quick Notes and the option to right click a link and copy the target to the clipboard.
So don’t waste any more time reading comments, download it already and see if I’m right or not.
