Microsoft just released their latest financial information, and revealed that the division containing Xbox has reported a profit:
Buoyed by strong Xbox sales, The Home and Entertainment unit posted an $84 million profit on revenue of $1.41 billion. A year ago, the unit saw losses of $397 million on sales of $1.27 billion.
Looks good for Xbox2 now!

hmm…doesn’t really make up for the $313 million dollars so far, but at least they’re making money now, so if and when XBOX 2 is released, they’ll be doing good, although what would you call it? I mean Playstation to PS2 made sense, since they shortened the name or from N64 to Gamecube, I mean maybe it’d be like XBOX : X-TREME! or I dunno, I’m not in marketing 🙂
