Here are my weekly notes:
- I totally agree with this post at the Bits blog – Online Backups Could Use Google’s Expertise. Enough with the Chrome OS smoke and mirrors, give us something useful!
- The OECD Factbook eXplorer is neat Flash tool for analyzing statistics about countries.
- CodePlex recently passed the 10,000 hosted projects mark! Impressive.
- Silverlight 3 has been released. Now I’m three versions behind, yay!
- I’ve been playing around with Lucene.Net recently. Though it seems like the project isn’t very active anymore, it’s still pretty useful.
- I haven’t used FriendFeed much lately, instead I spend most of my time on Twitter and Facebook. Scoble outlines why FriendFeed is failing to take off.
- I’ve got a few more things to say on the City Centre Airport this week, but then I think it’ll be time for a break, at least until the issue comes before Council again in the fall. Frankly, I’m surprised I haven’t received more comments like this one.
Can you believe July is nearly half gone!?
