At first I just left a comment on Rory’s post, but then I decided I should share this with all of you. After all, the religious blog wars have been kind of dead lately haven’t they? In any case, read his post. It is the perfect example of what most religious groups need – a good wake up call to mind their own goddamned business. Enjoy!

Kim was in town again today, home tomorrow. Her group was at the waterpark and shopping today so I met them for a movie tonight. Guess what? If you have been reading my blog lately, you might guess. There were only two shows playing at SilverCity that I hadn’t seen – 13 Going On 30, and New York Minute.
Hard decision, but wanting to stay out of jail for now (unlike Dickson), we went to see Jennifer Garner. She was hot, but don’t be fooled, the movie is rated 100% CF. I can’t say it was THAT bad even though it was very girly. Cute story though!
omg I used the word ‘cute’….its so over…but, still out of jail!
The new site has been uploaded and is now live. There are a few things we are still working on, but all the functionality that previously existed still works in the new design. The links have changed however:
This means the old links to the blogs may not work (we setup some redirects, but not all). If you have any problems, let me know.
Friday night was Greg’s birthday celebration at the Druid downtown. I think Dickson and I did a good job of making sure Greg won’t remember a thing – good call on that winning shot Dickson! Wondering what the winning shot was?
Bartender: What can I get for you?
Dickson: Give me the nastiest shot you have.
And believe me, it was nasty. The shot glass smelled so bad, so horribly bad. But Greg took it like a man!
Last night was the 30th Anniversary celebration for Megan’s parents. Even though the average age was much higher than I can count, it was fun! Andrew gave two very funny speeches, and is now known as “Tom’s Little Buddy”. Also, I finally got to meet Megan’s cousin Christine. That was good 🙂
My sister was in town for a couple days, on her way to Vancouver for some youth parliament event, so last night we went to see Shrek 2. It was quite funny, in some ways funnier than the first one, but in some ways not. That is to be expected I guess, as most of the characters are the same. Definitely worth the money however!
Now I will take a moment to share a teaser of some upcoming Blogosphere changes! Check out our new logo:
The new site is amazing (if I do say so myself). I would call it sexy! More to come soon!
Chu made a very cool post today, and no it isnt about girls! He posted the EdmontonGasPrices.com ticker! Check it out, its really scary!
Well neither Dickson nor I have done a Blogosphere.ca update in quite a while, so here are the latest statistics:
That’s enough for now. Let’s keep it going!
What an incredible day outside today! As I write this post we are still at the high for today of 22 degrees. Amazing is what I say, and tomorrow is supposed to be even hotter! Crack out the shorts and sandals! Too bad its gonna get cold again on Friday.
Everyone remember the Inuvik high school roof collapsing? Well apparently two kids broke in over the weekend and set fire to the mechanical room – that’s right, the room that runs the rest of the school. They also ended up torching the gym in the process. So basically, there is no school. Period. Anyone want to ask me again why I went to high school here?
Finally, it seems like the nasty flu that has been going around has found its way to Inuvik 😦 Hope you are feeling better soon Mom!
Sorry, this post no longer exists here. Check out my other posts.
Now that splogging has been accepted into PseudoDictionary, I created a special Splogging articles section which can be found here. So far you can read Splogging Defined and The Official Splogging Guide.
Also, if you want to link to the dictionary entry, you can use this easy to remember URL: http://www.pseudodictionary.com/splogging.
