Here are my weekly notes:
- I did a lot of drinking this weekend! That’s out of character for me, but I’ve got a good excuse – my boss from the UK is in town. Those Brits sure can drink!
- I’ve written about banning Facebook at work before, but I like the way Mathew phrases it: Facebook is not the problem – Facebook is a symptom.
- Here are some interesting leaked numbers on Google Reader. Too bad their recent upgrade breaks in Opera 9.23.
- I’m fascinated by the work Boris Mann and others in Vancouver are doing with mesh networks. I am wondering about doing something similar here in Edmonton.
- Wired NextFest wrapped up today in Los Angeles. Check out the site for some mind-blowing stuff.
- The media must be over the moon about O.J. Simpson being back in the news (and in trouble with the law). Is there nothing else they could focus on?
- It definitely feels like winter is on the way, at least in the mornings.
