Hope you had a nice long weekend! Here are my weekly notes:
- Sharon and I spent the weekend in Drumheller and Calgary with her family. It was really hot both days, but was nice to get away for a bit. You can see my photos here.
- The Microsoft-Yahoo search deal finally happened this week. Sounds like a pretty big win for Microsoft. A related, good read: Microsoft’s Long, Slow Decline.
- Sweet news for Blip.tv –they’ve got a distribution deal with YouTube.
- I’m sure you’ve seen the awesome wedding dance to Chris Brown’s “Forever”, and now the good news: the record label decided to make money off it instead of shutting it down.
- From Mashable: Top 15 Social Media Resources for Foodies.
- Google Reader now powers NewsGator’s RSS clients.
- A long but well-written article by Anil Dash on what he calls The Pushbutton Web.

Have you seen the “divorce dance”? http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zbr2ao86ww0
