The new look for the downtown Edmonton Public Library has drawn criticism online for how different it looks compared to previous project renderings, and the reaction even received coverage on BBC. Journalist Omar Mouallem tweets there are many unanswered questions he hasn’t seen "answered in media."
CTV Edmonton’s Nahreman Issa tweeted a heckling incident, "as a reminder that people still act this way towards the media."
A new Edmonton scholarship has been created in honour of Somali-Canadian reporter Hodan Nalayeh.
CTV Edmonton’s Sean Amato shared a throwback photo showing what TV footage used to be recorded on, compared to today.
Gwendoline Hunka shared a thank you to those in the Edmonton communications industry for taking the time to "talk with juniors."
