Edmonton Notes for 1/23/2011

If you walked outside and proclaimed it to be April, I don’t think anyone would fault you. This mini heat wave has been a welcome change from the icy cold temperatures and piles of snow we’ve had! Especially since the City’s response to all of that snow was “effective, but still fell short” – whatever that means.

Edmonton Notes for 11/28/2010

Today was the big day – the 98th Grey Cup took place at Commonwealth Stadium, and the Montreal Alouettes defeated the Saskatchewan Roughriders for the second year in a row. You can see my recap of the kickoff party here, and my recap of the parade here. My photos of the festival are here.
